Fees and Insurance
A first treatment is approximately one and a half hours long and
the fee is $85.00
Returning patient treatments are approximately one hour long and
fee is $65.00
Half hour treatments are available and the fee per treatment is
$35.00*
*This type of treatment is generally a seated treatment and is best for
smoking cessation, weight loss, appetite control, food, sugar and drug cravings.
We will be happy to discuss this treatment option with you if it is applicable
to your needs.
Insurance Coverage for Acupuncture Treatment:
For standard medical insurance coverage you do not need a referral from
your physician.
Worker’s Compensation and No Fault insurance both require
a referral and approval prior to acupuncture treatment.
Blue Choice and Blue Cross and Blue Shield
Ten treatments per year are covered depending upon your employer contract
agreement. The co-pays for most contracts are $36.25 for the first visit
and $27.50 for repeat visits.
Preferred Care
Ten treatments per year are covered depending upon your employer/health
insurance contract agreement. The co-pays for most contracts are $45.00
for the first visit and is $40.00 for repeat visits.
*I will be happy to contact your provider to help you determine
your co-pay for treatment.
Missed appointments
Appointment cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled
appointment. This allows other patients the opportunity to fill these treatment
time slots. Missed appointments without call cancellation will be billed/charged
the full cost of the missed appointment.

Payment in full (less insurance coverage) is due at time of
service.
ACTCM accepts Cash, Check** and Credit Card (Visa and MasterCard).
**All returned checks will be charged a $30.00 return fee to defray
bank fees– no exceptions.
